....and now four months later...

    Where should I start?  well in April I was in Phoenix for a week.  Stayed with an older couple that knows our family well.  That was really cool,  went to Flagstaff to see the red rocks.  Amazing!

   I'm working at the restaurant 3 days a week but it hardly pays the bills!  Not cool... anyone know of anyone hiring fulltime help??  I need to do something different.  I tried to apply for a loan to buy house in Lancaster City and I was told that I didnt qualify because I don't have a full time job! ..but I'll figure something out...

    Yep, I'm gonna move into the city.  one of my buddies is goin to Millersville college and so he said he move in with me.  That will be really cool.   I've got alot on my mind lately, alot of decision's to make.  So if ya'll would pray for me that would be nice of ya...

    The last two weeks have been really crazy but prolly the best time I've had in awhile,  -learned a ton at the Bill Gothar Seminar on how to Cry out to God,  and that when we give Jesus our hearts we also need to give him our bodies "....that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God..."  (Romans 12;1)  I had never thought about it like that.  It makes sense tho.  God dwells inside me, so I need to treat my body as a temple!  Another thing that happened the last two weeks was that God does answer pray!  I had been crying out to God for a friend and God answered my prayer friday night about the same time i was praying!   Praise God!

To Dave and Randy- you guys are the best friends a fellow could ask for!! Cheers to you!=)

God cares...

Whatever your cross,

whatever your pain,

there will always be sunshine, after the rain....

Perhaps you may stumble, perhaps even fall;

But God's always ready, to answer your call....

He knows every heartache, sees every tear,

a word from His lips, can calm every fear...

Your sorrows may linger, throughout the night,

But suddenly vanish, by dawn's early light...

The Savior is waiting, somewhere above,

to give you His grace, and send you His love.

I came across this story and it hit me hard!  Hope it awakens your soul too.

--------------------------------------------------

A drunk man in an Oldsmobile

They said had run the light

That caused the six-car pileup

On 109 that night.

When broken bodies lay about

'And blood was everywhere,'

'The sirens screamed out eulogies,'

For death was in the air

'A mother, trapped inside her car,'

Was heard above the noise;

Her plaintive plea near split the air;

'Oh, God, please spare my boys!'

She fought to loose her pinned hands;

'She struggled to get free;

But mangled metal held her fast

In grim captivity.

Her frightened eyes then focused

'On where the back seat once had been,'

But all she saw was broked glass and

Two children's seats crushed in.

Her twins were nowhere to be seen;

'She did not hear them cry,'

'And then she prayed they'd been thrown free,'

'Oh, God, don't let them die!'

Then firemen came and cut her loose,'

'But when they searched the back,'

'They found therein no little boys,'

But the seat belts were intact.

They thought the woman had gone mad

'And was traveling alone,'

'But when they turned to question her,'

They discovered she was gone.

Policemen saw her running wild

And screaming above the noise

'In beseeching supplication,'

Please help me find my boys!

They're four years old and wear blue shirts;

'Their jeans are blue to match.'

'One cop spoke up, "They're in my car,

And they don't have a scratch.

They said their daddy put them there

 And gave them each a cone,

Then told them both to wait for Mom

To come and take them home.

I've searched the area high and low,

But I can't find their dad.

He must have fled the scene

I guess, and that is very bad."

The mother hugged the twins and said,

While wiping at a tear,

"He could not flee the scene, you see,

For he's been dead a year."

The cop looked confused and asked,

"Now, how can that be true?"

The boys said, "Mommy, Daddy came

And left a kiss for you,

He told us not to worry

And that you will be alright,

And then he put us in this car with

The pretty, flashing light,

We wanted him to stay with us,

Because we miss him so,

But mommy, he just hugged us tight

And said he had to go.

He said someday we'd understand

And told us not to fuss,

And he said to tell you, Mommy,

He's watching over us."

The mother knew without a doubt

That what they said was true,

For she recalled their dad's last words,

"I will watch over you."

The firemen's notes could not explain

The twisted, mangled car,

And how the three of them escaped

Without a single scar.

But on the cop's report was scribed,

In print so very fine.

"An ANGEL walked the beat tonight on Highway 109."

  This morning when the Lord opened a window to Heaven, He saw me, and He asked: "My child, what is your greatest wish for today?" I responded: "Lord ,please take care of the person who is reading this message, their family and their special friends. They deserve it and I love them very much. "THE LOVE OF GOD IS LIKE THE OCEAN, YOU CAN SEE ITS BEGINNING, BUT NOT ITS END. ANGELS EXIST, but sometimes, since they don't all have wings, we call them friends!!!

Don't quit!

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
when the road you’re retrudging seems all up hill,
when the funds are low and the debts are high,
and you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
when care is pressing you down a bit,
rest, if you must-but don’t you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
as every one of us sometimes learns,
and many a failure turns abut,
when we might have won had we stuck it out,
don’t give up, though the pace seems slow-
you might succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than
it seems to a faint faltering man,
often the struggler has given up
when he might have captured the victor’s cup,
and he learned too late, when the night slipped down,
how close he was to the golden crown.

Succeed is failure turned inside out-
the silver tint of the clouds of doubt-
and you never can tell how close you are,
it may be near when it seems afar;
so stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit-
it’s when things seem worst tha want to quit.

I came across this poem and I really liked it.  Hope it might encourage you all too.   I had a really good weekend,  our youth group went on chorus tour to VA.  Saturday we toured DC, went to the spie museum.  That was really cool!  We also went to the Air and space museum and watch the imax called Adrenaline Rush.  Its about parachuting.  i liked it.  To all the youth group-  a big shout out to you all-  You guys are the best!  I am happy to be a part of you all.
